My wife Monique and I are proud to have raised our children and two dogs in Hamilton. I am standing as a council candidate in the Hamilton city council election West ward.  I trained as a pilot and studied  marketing and business management.  I have  been on council before and worked hard as  part of this community for many years to help make it a better place. I successfully led the referendum to put fluoride back in the city's water after Council moved to take it out. I led the move by Council to let children under five swim for free at council run pools.

I have returned from overseas refreshed and reinvigorated after studying and living in the UK, Canada and the Philippines. I completed  the Mini MBA -Integrated Management Thinking at the McGill Executive Institute  and completed the General Management Program at Cambridge University . I volunteered in the Philippines as a Business Development Specialist on a Canadain & EU funded project. I set up and manged Operation Phoenix which was a humanitarin project which built 60 house in Sri Lanka after the devasting boxing day tsunami. I was proud to  received the New Zealand special service medal for this  initiative. I launched Kiwi International Airlines which helped put Hamilton on the international map and while I was the chairman of the city’s economic development committee successfully attracted a number of significant businesses to the city.  I can bring a unique set of skills back to the council table.
